About Position:

The part-time LPN supports the activities of the Staff Nurse in providing patient care for a caseload of 24 individuals, including assessments of injuries/accidents and providing follow-up care as needed, assisting with quarterly assessments as needed, charting, and responding to emergencies as needed. The Nursing Services team assists in the development of self-care plans to improve behavioral and medical health outcomes. The part-time LPN may assist in scheduling medical appointments and transporting individuals to them. On-call will be shared on rotation with the Staff Nurse; assessments may be made virtually and/or in person as needed.

Hours are flexible – set your own schedule. The person selected for this position will work 20 hours/week at the agency’s main office and day programming services site.


About You:

  • LPN currently licensed to practice in Iowa;

  • Outstanding communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;

  • Highly organized;

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating in a team environment;

  • Able to lift and transfer 20 to 50 pounds; and 

  • Able to drive agency or personal vehicle. Must possess valid driver's license and possess a driving record that meets agency authorized driver criteria.
