About Position:

The RN Consultant provides oversight of the activities of the Nursing Services team by reviewing documentation of patient care, including assessments of injuries/accidents and quarterly assessments. Oversight may be done remotely; technology will be provided. The RN Consultant also provides clinical training for Medication Manager and Medication Aide learners according to state regulations. Clinical training for Med Managers is 3 hrs., classes are scheduled on a rolling basis. Clinicals for Med Aides is 12 hrs. over four weeks for 2-3 learners approximately every two months.

Hours are flexible – set your own schedule. The person selected for this position may primarily work remotely. Provision of clinical training will be a combination of onsite residential and/or day services locations.

About You:

  • RN currently licensed to practice in Iowa;

  • Outstanding communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;

  • Highly organized;

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with others;

  • Able to lift and transfer 20 to 50 pounds;

  • Able to drive agency or personal vehicle. Must possess valid driver's license and possess a driving record that meets agency authorized driver criteria.
