Job Description:

Area Residential Care (ARC) is now hiring for an organized, determined, and detail-orientated individual for our Nursing Services Assistant opening. Area Residential Care has been around for over 50 years providing services for adults with intellectual disabilities. The Nursing Services Assistant will play a role in providing the best care for our individuals and will ensure they are getting the best possible treatment at ARC.

The Nursing Services Assistant will be responsible for tracking, scheduling, coordinating and documenting all medical appointments for our clients, as well as transportation. They will routinely do quality assurance checks of Med rooms as assigned. Also, they will be responsible for medical-related documenting and filing. The Medical Scheduler will support ARC's staff nurse as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • H.S Diploma or GED

  • At least 1 year relevant experience

  • C.N.A certification within 6 months of hire

  • Must be an agency driver OR willing to become one

  • Strong computer skills

 

Job Type: Full time- 40 hours per week. Works mainly indoors in a climate controlled environment. The shift is from 7a/8a- 3:30/4:30p Mon-Fri. Working overtime as needed. 

Wage: $13.13-$13.93, calculated based on education level and relevant experience.
