Job Description:

Do you like to fix things? Area Residential Care is looking for someone to join our facilities team in providing outstanding living and working conditions for the individuals we support.

Our Maintenance staff cooperate with other Facility Operations staff to provide general maintenance and upkeep of the homes and facilities we operate. In this role, you will conduct inspections of agency facilities and perform general maintenance and repairs to help ensure the safety and well-being of our supported individuals. You will work closely with the Facility Operations Director to develop the maintenance schedule, and help guide the activities of other Maintenance staff.



  • High school diploma or GED/HSED.

  • Ability to lift 20-75 pounds.

  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets agency authorized driver criteria.

  • Able to operate all agency construction, production, and grounds equipment.


General maintenance experience, including some light electrical, HVAC, and plumbing along with some knowledge of lawn care, snow removal, painting, general construction, troubleshooting, and problem solving, is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time position. This first shift position works Monday-Friday, starting between 6:30-8am through 3-4:30pm. Overtime opportunities may be available to assist with emergency situations.


Wage: $13.24 - $14.05 per hour
